In Cognitive Empathy: Finding the Balance with Caregivers webinar, Family Caregivers of B.C. will share helpful strategies and tools that health-care providers can use to identify caregivers and better understand caregiver challenges. Michelle Lobchuk, Associate Professor with the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba will explain cognitive empathy in relation to caregivers, and communication strategies that can be applied in your interactions with caregivers. This webinar is an opportunity for health-care providers to gain a different perspective on empathy, and how using empathy centered communication can lead to strong partnerships with families and care recipients.
