The Employment Data and Analysis System (EDAS) collects employment data from the public school system. EDAS serves the needs of:

• School districts, by providing workforce management information to support local operations and accurate data to support collective bargaining.
• The BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA), by supporting the BCPSEA Sustainable Workforce Initiative, human resource best practices and collective bargaining for support staff and teachers.
• The Ministry of Education and Child Care, by providing employee data required to allocate funding.

A common benefit to all organizations involved is that EDAS streamlines existing ministry data collection forms, reduces duplication of requests and automates the data extraction and transfer process.

Instructions
1. Visit the Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) web page for more information and instructions on how to submit EDAS data.

2. Submit the EDAS data via the DX2 platform by April 30, 2025. (A BCeID is required.)
