Student Achievement Data Exchange (SADE) – October
October 31
The Student Achievement Data Exchange (SADE) collects course level data for every student for all Distributed Learning schools, Summer schools and all public schools offering Grades 8 through 12 (including Continuing Education and Alternate Education Centres), as required by the School and Student Data Collection Order (M152/89). The information collected through SADE provides schools, districts and the Ministry of Education an additional resource to monitor and support student achievement. SADE is also used to verify course completion for funding graduated adults.
To streamline ministry data collections and reduce the administrative burden for schools, the ministry has introduced a modified SADE collection. The quarterly SADE collection has been modified to only include schools with Graduated Adult course completions.
Instructions
If you have Graduated Adult course completions to report to the ministry, please submit your SADE report by Oct 31, 2024. Visit the Student Achievement Data Exchange (SADE) web page for more information, including instructions on how to use SADE and how to log in to submit your data.
If you do not have Graduated Adult course completions, you no longer need to submit a SADE file.
