A reminder that school districts can submit their 2026/27 child care capital project requests using the Capital Asset Planning System (MyCAPS). Minor capital child care project requests for 2026/27 must be submitted by September 30. These deadlines are unique to school district project submissions. Any dates referred to in relation to the ChildCareBC New Spaces Fund project intake no longer apply to school districts. For more information on the project submission process, please refer to the Capital Plan Instructions or contact the Regional Director and Planning Officer team responsible for child care.

Instructions
1. See the Capital Programs for Kindergarten to Grade 12 web page for more information on Minor Capital Programs. Refer to the Capital Plan Instructions for eligibility criteria and submission requirements.

2. Submit the Child Care Manor Capital Programs 5-Year Capital Plan Submissions to the ministry using the web-based Capital Asset Planning System (CAPS).
