As per the Special Education Programs and Funding Independent Schools Policy, Independent Special Education Schools must meet the Educator to Student Ratio (1:6 or less) to receive the Special Education School grant and must submit the 2023/24 Educator to Student Ratio Form to demonstrate adherence to the criteria.

Instructions:

1. Please submit the 2023/24 Educator to Student Ratio Form to demonstrate adherence to the criteria and the accompanying auditor’s report to ECC.IndependentSchoolsOffice@gov.bc.ca by June 15, 2024.
2. Refer to the Frequently Asked Questions for additional guidance in completing the form.
